Job Description
* Work from requirement specifications to design, develop, implement, and maintain high-quality technical solutions.
* Responsible for architecting, designing and coding software modules.
* Participate in architectural reviews and analysis to ensure the efficacy of technical solutions.
* Provide and meet time estimates for assigned deliverables.
* Work with Quality Assurance to develop test plans and strategies to produce high-quality products.
* Work with Technical Communications to ensure software features and technologies are properly documented.
* Present to and work with senior management to communicate knowledge, ideas and opinions.
* Analyze and fix complex software problems.
* Participate in unit testing, product testing and product certification.
* Produce software deliverables and technical documentation in collaboration with other engineering teams, product management, QA and support.
* C ontribute to and review Project Requirement Document.
* Create, review and author Software Requirement Specifications and Design Documents.
* Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept applications.
* Coming up with new ways to improve the product and software development practices.
* Involve in project estimation, project planning, project status.
* Mentoring of team members.
Desired Candidate Profile
* 4+ years of Experience in IT industry of which 1+ years should be in mobile web development.
* Experience working with Blackberry Storm OS 4.7 +.
* Should have working knowledge of Blackberry Web Signals technology.
* Experience in CSS 2.0, xHTML, cHTML, WAP.
* Excellent J2ME programming skill is desirable .
* Ability to think out of the box and should be able to work with minimal direction.
* Must be a good team player
* Good presentation and communication skills.
